Why we exist
This one is personal.
When my dad was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease, he took control of the everyday basics: cleaner air, cleaner food and cleaner water. It raised a question none of us could answer. How clean is the water we're actually drinking?
The deeper we looked into filtration, the more unproven claims we found. So we built what we'd been searching for: premium filters that tell you the truth about what they do.

Australia has some of the safest tap water in the world, and we're not interested in scaring anyone about their kitchen tap. But to protect public health, suppliers add disinfectants such as chlorine, and by the time water reaches your home it has often travelled through kilometres of ageing pipes.

Added by water suppliers to disinfect mains water and keep it safe on its way to your tap. Australian guidelines allow up to 5 mg/L.
It is also the main cause of the pool-like taste and smell many people notice, at the sink and in the shower.

PFAS (forever chemicals)
A large group of man-made chemicals used in non-stick, waterproof and firefighting products. They are called forever chemicals because they break down extremely slowly and can build up in the body over time.
Australia's drinking water guidelines for several PFAS were updated in 2025, with lower limits.

Lead
Lead in tap water usually comes from older pipes, solder and brass fittings between the water main and your glass, not from the treatment plant.
The World Health Organization states there is no known level of lead exposure that is considered safe.

Microplastics
Tiny plastic particles now found in many water sources, as well as in food and air.
Research into their long-term effects is still developing, so many households choose to reduce their exposure where it is easy to do.

Fluoride
Added to most Australian town water to help prevent tooth decay, at levels set by health authorities.
Some households prefer to decide their own fluoride intake. Standard carbon jug and tap filters do not reduce it.
