How often should I replace my filters?
For optimal performance, we recommend replacing your HydroX filter set every 6 months or approximately 1514 litres, whichever comes first. You may need to replace it sooner depending on how much water you filter and the quality of your local water supply, as some municipal and water sources carry more sediment and impurities than others.
The HydroX filter life indicator will let you know when it's time. You may also notice a change in the taste or smell of your water, or a slower flow.
What's in a set?
Each set includes 2 cartridges (A and B), which work together in the HydroX Electric Water Filter Pitcher. One set lasts up to 6 months, so a 2-set pack covers 12 months and a 3-set pack covers 18 months.
What do the filters reduce?
In lab testing, the HydroX filters showed reductions of lead >99.89%, chlorine >99.52%, total PFAS >99.22% and fluoride >98.28%. They also help reduce other harmful contaminants from your tap water, while retaining the beneficial minerals that give water a smooth, natural taste.
How do I replace them?
